Melissa is a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) She completed her coaching training
through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition®️. She holds a Masters degree in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health Melissa spent nearly two decades working as a public health professional - focusing primarily on cancer research and childhood obesity, followed by five years in providing health and wellness education to children and their families. She strongly ascribes to the mentality of prioritizing prevention and the development of healthy habits to attain to true wellness.
As a health coach, she work with individuals and groups to help them improve the quality of their lives. Through the coaching program, clients set nutrition, physical activity, and positive self-care goals that will improve their health outcomes and simultaneously reduce the risk of developing more serious chronic diseases.
Through the joyful chaos of her life, she finds balance through yoga and enjoys teaching at Yoga Six in St. Louis as a registered yoga teacher (eRTY-200) with Yoga Alliance. More than anything, she adores being a wife and mother to two vivacious, energetic, charismatic, and beautiful children.
